BETTER WITH TIME

Galila’s Collection at AYA Estate Vineyards

Initiated and realized by Vesselina Sarieva, BETTER WITH TIME brings together the world of Belgian collector Galila Barzilai and the artistic vision of AYA Estate Vineyards in a project connecting two collections through contemporary art, nature, and a shared appreciation of time and transformation.

The exhibition presents a selection of works from Galila Barzilai’s eclectic collection, which encompasses the work of more than 2,000 artists. Featuring 21 international artists: Pilar Albarracín, Elodie Antoine, Mónica Bengoa, Deborah Bowmann, Jacques Carelman, Cécile Davidovici & David Ctiborsky, Nathalia Edenmont, Rune Guneriussen, Jae Ko, Troy Makaza, Jaydan Moore, Hyacinthe Ouattara, Irving Penn, Ghizlane Sahli, Chiharu Shiota, Daniel Spoerri, Bob Verschueren, Gabriel Wiese, Tatiana Wolska, Noriko Yamaguchi, the exhibition spans photography, sculpture, installation, textiles, and object-based practices.

The curatorial concept and texts by Galila Barzilai explore the relationships between art, material, memory, and time, inviting visitors to discover how materials and objects transform, accumulate meaning, and reveal new perspectives over time.
