Newsletter April 2020
Sariev's newsletter for April is out now.
View it in your browser here, including images and more info.
Dear friends,
Each month, Sariev Gallery announces and provides you with up-to-date news about our artists, their current exhibitions, forthcoming lectures, media coverage, and forthcoming fairs and forums in which the gallery will participate, as well as suggests recommended events and literature.
The current emergency situation in the world caused by the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus has forced us, similarly to all our colleagues, to close our doors for the time span prescribed by the Bulgarian government.
Were the world the same in April, we would expect the lecture and visit to Sofia and Plovdiv at our invitation of Marius Babias from the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, the participation of Sariev in Friend of a Friend in Warsaw as a guest of the Piktogram gallery, and Luchezar Boyadzhiev’s retrospective exhibition at MOMus – the Metropolitan Organisation of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki.
In the middle of the month, we were supposed to open our new curated exhibition featuring three artists and a parallel programme, which turned out to be an intuition about the change in the world and our way of
thinking.
However, the world is not the same and we are hoping for brighter days soon and for the opportunity to realise our ideas, of which we will inform you in a timely manner.
Until then, if you wish, you can check our online activity and also follow our suggestions for recommended content on our internet channels.
We are continuing to work from home and are available for conversations, perhaps now more than ever.
Stay healthy and peaceful!
Katrin and Vesselina Sarievi
