FLUCA 2019 is part of the official programme of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019
October programme:
3 October, 7 pm – Bernhard Wolf presents his art works, realized in the public space of Plovdiv. The project is created in Plovdiv during
the one month long FLUCA residency of the artist in September, supported by the Cultural Department of the Province
of Styria
3 October, 8 pm – Party with movieman
4 October, 7 pm – Presentation of the project “On The Island“ by “Body Graphics“ and “Theater of Responsibility”. The project involves the topic of Adata island in Maritsa river
11 October, 7 pm – Anaïs Horn (Paris / Vienna) presents IN-BETWEEN, a photography project developed in interaction with the local Roma youth community. The project took place in the framework of the artist’s two-month FLUCA residency in Plovdiv. The project is supported by the Cultural Department of the Province of Styria and the Federal Chancellery of Austria

Aaron Moulton was in Bulgaria on the occasion of the second edition of Sariev+Markov Artist Residency presenting the American artist L whose work A.S.T.R.A.L.O.R.A.C.L.E.S Interdimensional Ritual was shown during NIGHT Plovdiv 2019 at Plovdiv Roman Stadium on 13 September 2019.
The project is realized in the frames of Sariev+Markov sculpture projects for NIGHT/Plovdiv by OPEN ARTS Foundation. The project is supported by American Embassy in Bulgaria and Arts Envoy.
