Using the English language expression “Burning the candle from both ends” as a point of reference, this work visualizes the wording into a never-ending loop, or life cycle, where the candles burn and shift ever so slowly but never actually burn out. The intended presence of the work in the space is of a video surface but painting-like presence in terms of both time and space.
