24 Carats
“24 CARATS” is an exhibition in Sariev Gallery on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Emil Mirazchiev, one of the emblematic figures on contemporary Bulgarian art scene. He is a member and co-founder of the avant-garde art group “Rab” (Edge) from the 90’s. He is also initiator, founder and director of the Center for contemporary art “The Ancient bath”, Plovdiv and a president of “Art Today” association. Emil Mirazchiev is author and curator with modern art vision and participates actively, sometimes scandalously, effectively and efficiently on Bulgarian art scene.
“24 CARATS” is a project especially made for Sariev Gallery, whose character of an art-action turns the gallery space into a co-author and associate participant, its concept is to play with the meanings and provokes to be perceived as a play. The exhibition of the “24 carat art” by Emil Mirazchiev has the dynamic character of an art-action and performance and ironically hints at the clichéd values.
