Daniela Georgieva (* 1979 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria) lives and works in Dusseldorf. Since completing her studies at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, she has been working across disciplines in the fields of fine arts, music, performance/ dance, combining them with great intensity and apparent lightness. Daniela Georgieva is always on the look-out for special moments that she captures and transforms in her essence. This approach, which was also found in her sculptural works, video works, drawings, collages, prints or soundscapes, is particularly evident in her performative pieces of recent years.
